QTip! - Returning Xerox Supplies for Recycling

This video shows you how to print a UPS Return Label, so that you can send you used supplies back to Xerox for recycling! Go to http://www.xerox.com/gwa and the on-screen instructions will take you through the process. It is fast, simple and great for the planet!

There are three different ways of shipping your supplies back to Xerox: Single item returns, Eco Box returns, or Pallet Returns.

1. Print a single label for a single item return
With the single item returns, Xerox will send your supplies to specific recycling centers around the country, based on what part it is. For example, toner bottles and fusers may be sent to different locations, so once you find your supply on the list, it is easy to print out a UPS return label with the proper address already filled out!

2. Order an 'Eco Box' and return multiple times
If you have between five and thirty supplies to return to Xerox, you can order 'Eco Boxes'! Xerox Eco Boxes can be ordered for free and they come with the pre-paid return label already stuck on the box!

Once you get the boxes delivered, simply fill the box, tape it shut and send it back to Xerox!

3. Pallet Returns, for sending returning over thirty items
If you have more than thirty Xerox Supplies items to return, then you can use the Xerox Pallet Returns process. Simply download the Xerox Bulk Process PDF which contains the instructions on how to prepare your times and schedule a pickup.

Xerox has kept more than 145,000,000 (One hundred and forty five million) pounds of waste out of landfills with their environmentally responsible business practices! Xerox even pays for the shipping, because recycling is that important to us. QDoxs highly encourages their customers to recycle!

If you have the need for Xerox Onsite Service and you have a Service Contract with Xerox, you can now place your service calls online! Here is how!

Once you search for your model machine on http://www.support.xerox.com, their will be a link labeled 'Support', where you can find several articles on some simple or advanced features of your machine. On the left hand side of the page, you will find a 'Request Onsite Service' link. Click that, fill out the form, and the award-winning Xerox Service Team will be contacting you shortly!

The process is simple. You email the document you want to print to your Xerox Machine, and a code is emailed back to you. QTip! Xerox Online Support from the Touch Screen

Xerox has made their machines even easier to use by integrating Xerox Online Support right on the printer's touch screen. Now support articles are available at your finger tips whenever you need them!

In this QTip! Sarah walks you through the simple process of accessing a support article right for the MFP's touch screen!

This demo is preformed on the Xerox WorkCentre 7556. For this machine, there are two sections in the Xerox Online Support feature: (1) Solutions For... and (2) How To... so that it is easy to find the article that you need. Or you can always just search, by pressing the 'Search' button on the top right of the screen.

Under 'Solutions For' you will find the following categories:

The New Xerox 770 Digital Color Press

Xerox has released a new printer called the 770 Digital Color Press and they are showing it at Graph Expo 2011. It will be available in early October. We will be uploading some of the relavent videos when the come in, but in the mean time, here are a few things that you should know about the product:

Automated Color Quality Suite, which Xerox describes as, "a set of tools that handle color management tasks with minimal operator involvement". They have installed an Inline spectrophotometer, so that there is color matching during the printing process. Very interesting.
Auto Duplex coated paper up to 100 lb. cover / 300 g/m²!
Also, the machine will perform at rated speed, even with the thicker stocks, a huge advantage.

That is exceptionally nice in offices with multiple machines.

With this simple feature, on-the-go workers do not need to boot up a computer, login and send a print job. All they need to do is insert the flash drive, and print their job!
